Thank you for making Yukon Youth a priority!

The Boys and Girls Club has grown in leaps and bounds over the last 15 years. From our humble beginnings as the Whitehorse Youth Centre Society, a concerned group of people working out of a small trailer parked at the 2nd Haven Skateboard Park, to where we are today – the Boys and Girls Club of Yukon, a non-profit organization that provides after-school programming (Weekday Warriors) in 3 Whitehorse Schools for children aged 5-12 and runs a Youth Drop-In Centre that is highly attended by youth aged 11-18.

It’s time for us to grow again, and we need your help. After conducting a needs assessment, listening to Yukon families, and drafting a 109 page expansion plan it has become clear that our after school programs are valuable and necessary, and it is our goal not only to bring these programs to every school in Whitehorse, but to offer our services to Yukon communities as well. In order to do this, we will need to expand our staff team, and in order to do that, we need a larger space. Luckily, we have found a space that will not only enable us to expand, but will also allow us to stay in the downtown core of Whitehorse where we can best serve the youth who depend on us.

Now for the exciting part! We need to renovate our new space at 306 Alexander street, and turn it into a New Boys and Girls Club that will serve Yukon families for years to come.

Please donate today and help us to make this dream a reality!
